Franklinton Cycle Works Volunteer Night

  • Franklinton Cycle Works 897 West Broad Street Columbus, OH, 43222 United States (map)

Volunteer Night is a great way to get involved at FCW. Volunteer Night is held every Tuesday from 6:30-8:30 pm. Some volunteers are experienced mechanics while others have no mechanical knowledge at all, but are interested in learning how to repair and maintain their own bikes as well as helping others do the same. The shop isn’t open for repairs on Volunteer Night so the focus can be on getting things done around the shop, getting to know one another better, and further developing skills.

On Volunteer nights, typically the focus is on:

  • fixing bicycles to be sold through the shop

  • disassembling bicycles that are better used for spare parts

  • cleaning the shop space

  • sorting used parts

  • labeling and pricing

  • creative art projects in the shop

  • making shop improvements

  • and so on

Whatever your interests, FCW has a place for you as a volunteer! We look forward to meeting you.

Volunteers are welcome to register here, but are not required to do so. For additional questions please email info@franklintoncycleworks.org
