The more specific you can be, the better. Even if you plan to file a report later, take note of the day, time, location, and bus number or stop number, if you have it! Not having this information shouldn’t stop you from reporting an issue, but it does make it easier for the COTA team to address. For example:
Not ideal: The 8 bus keeps passing me when I’m trying to get to work.
Ideal: My stop is number #XXXX and the 8 bus keeps passing me when I’m waiting for it between 8 and 8:30am every morning when I’m trying to get to work.

Inaccurate schedules or bus information
“Ghost buses” - when a bus appears on Transit App or Google real time tracking, but never arrives

Any and all issues related to COTA buses, COTA service, and COTA facilities

Whether it’s issues with bus service, bust stop and facilities, or anything else related to your experience using COTA, you should report it! Even if you may not think it’s that big of a deal, reporting issues helps COTA understand when riders are experiencing difficulties and allows them to address the issues and track ongoing and systemic problems.
